Lindsay’s career began covering the Auburn University football team and then the NFL for ESPN The Magazine. She was featured during the NFL Playoffs along with Sage Steele and Suzy Kolber, for Esquire Magazine, and reported from the sidelines of the AKC Eukanuba National Championship Dog Show that aired on Lifetime TV in January of this year.

Lindsay McCormick is an exceptionally talented TV Personality and Sports Broadcaster. She is in conversation with Namita Nayyar, President – Women Fitness.

Ms. Namita Nayyar:
You have selected the profession of sports journalism- one that requires a lot of hard labor, technical understanding of different sports and various abilities in different faculties to succeed, how do you achieve that?

Ms. Lindsay McCormick:
Honestly, my entire life has set me up for this profession. From being born into a hardcore sports family with a background in football and NASCAR, to my dad taking us to every Astros game imaginable as a kid on top of attending every single one of my brother’s baseball and basketball games. Sports became a part of who I am and easy to submerge myself in because it’s what I was always accustomed to. I can’t lie, at times it is extremely difficult to keep up with every detail and current event for every single sport. But for the most part, I try to have a general idea of what’s currently happening with each sport and then just hone in on the details before a broadcast.
